The Hotel is good, but compared to Hotel next Door this is way below. the room is good, the front office service is very bad, the bathrooms are very small and floor is dirty.
The location is amazing, it s in the Centre of the walking street, on Sunday they have events on the road and they block the road ,its good and can have nice time in the nights, with lots of music and god activity, lots of shops restaurant etc.
if there is no rooms available in other hotel i will sure stay here.

This older hotel in the very center of Ensenada's main street is a welcome surprise! Unlike a lot of the newer "hipster" hotels, it still retains a kind of olde-world charm. Staff and everything was fine, super service. Get a room on the top floor overlooking the pool and you will be fine: rooms like 510 or 511. Try the restaurant too: its much better than what you might expect from a hotel restaurant.

The shower curtain was too short and water spilled on the floor, slippery and dangerous. Also, seems like there was a bad scent coming from the drain.

I would definitely stay there again. I stayed five nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. It was quiet in the hotel despite being in the Historic District frequented by tourists. The only downsides were the water pressure in the shower was low (but possibly due to local water conservation regulations) and the bed was harder than what I'm accustomed to, but I got used to it after the first night. If you want to eat where the locals eat and the food is home-made, I suggest Maribel at 211 Alvarado, just a few minute's walk away. The caldo de pollo, the homemade salsas and handmade tortillas were like someone's abuela would make. Maribel is on the east side of a little plaza of stores.

Éramos 4 adultos y 2 niños de 10 años, nos hicieron pagar otro cuarto más caro … entendí que es la política del hotel , al pedir algún apoyo como descuento o precio especial , muy cortante la señora que nos atendió, nos dio negativas…. Aprovechando de que era reservación ya pagada con expedía , sabía que no podíamos cancelar…. Muy fea experiencia.
